DIGITAL PRESENCE OVERHAUL
As a first step towards establishing the organization as a digital leader, I transitioned the central web presence from a custom CMS to an extensible system multiple stakeholders could utilize. Then simplified the navigation and information architecture to accommodate more regular content additions.
Created a basic mobile app utilizing a third-party app engine in order to interact with members and communicate relevant information in a timely manner.
In order to engage the technical creative community around the Bay Area into projects, I created monthly gatherings and training workshops that would equip participants to contribute their efforts to a wide variety of digital projects.
Hosted 350 participants from all over the Bay Area who built 32 faith-based products over the course of a weekend. Challenges were presented in partnership with local social organizations and the delivered projects ranged from chatbots, IoT devices, mobile applications, and web services.
Worked alongside World Vision to build an immersive virtual reality experience to showcase missional projects on the ground utilizing Google Cardboard. We named it, "Vision Caster", and ended up winning first prize for Best New Code. We named it, "Vision Caster", and ended up winning one of the prizes! INTERACTIVE LOBBY KIOSK
Replacing physical postcards in a guest center lobby, we created an interactive 65” touchscreen display interface that could quickly inform visitors about ways to get involved and capture their interest and personal information on-the-spot. Which then triggered off an progressive email campaign to their inbox.
Implemented a mobile-based SMS giving system, which increased online giving by over $1.5M.
